Birthday's once a month

This Adorable baby girl has been the center of our world for 3 incredible, breathtaking months.
Happy birthday Cassandra!

Cass wore her 3 month onsie all day today, and when I went into the super market today this lady said to me.."Isn't it funny... Babies have a birthday every month until they are 1 years old.. then they get shafted and only get one once a year"... I looked at her and laughed.. got home..and realized, that is so true!

We did a photo shoot today. Here are some photos I took.

This past week has been exciting once again! Cass discovered her feet for first time yesterday! I decided to take a nap while she was in her chair and she was playing away, I woke up to her ringing the bell! Took that as a get up mom!!!! As I open my eye I see her playing with the toys on her chair with her feet, and she was grabbing them and moving her legs and feet around and pushing the toys everywhere. To me that is a huge moment. It is a moment where she is realizing that she has legs and feet and can use them. Concordantion!!! something I lack..so maybe she does have more of Alex in her than me.
So ever since Cass was born it has been "oh she looks so much like Alex"..to the point where it almost felt like it hurt, maybe not hurt, but I wanted just ONE person to say she looks like I do!  I know she looks like Alex.. we all know who the dad actually was;) Not that that was ever an issue... hahaha but it was a joke after she was born... Who was the mom?? haha.. well I am going to prove she looks like me a bit.. YES! SHE LOOKS LIKE ALEX.. I KNOW!!!  but you have to admit.. there is some of me in her..
My Uncle Rick met her for the first time today and he was excited to see that she has De Rosa hands and feet!!! Take that Cwikowski's hahah;)

So three months have past.. and they have gone by so quickly its amazing once you start thinking back to the day she was born.. Just yesterday she was one day old.. and now she is 3 months!

Teething, Shopping, Growing, Christmas..

When I look into your eyes, it's like watching the night sky and a beautiful sunrise
I won't give up on us, even if the skies get rough I'm giving you both all of my love.

So I wrote this super long post.. and I clicked something... and then all of a sudden my post was gone!!!!:(

Right now, I am sitting and relaxing. Alex went on a men's golfing trip this weekend he will be back tonight, I went and stayed at my mom's last night and went shopping today. I think I have a shopping addiction. This was for a good cause.. Christmas shopping for Cass. I am planning a head..This is going to be one exciting Christmas even though she is still so young and will only be 6 months. this is the year for firsts so it's all pretty exciting!.. I am already excited for christmas next year! Christmas.. that's supposed to be a foreign word right now.. But when you sit and think, it is September 9th..that means 3 months till Christmas which is 107 days 2558 hours... scary hey!

This past week has been fairly exciting, Cass rolled over from her back to her tummy( only for my parents), she pulled the bell in her chair which we have been waiting for, for awhile, and she has let out some giggles.. She is always talking a lot!!! talking means coos and aaas and noises.. but she has definitely found her voice.. she is loud and seems to always be so happy! I have one amazing baby!

Things are definitely starting to look up! I am a lot happier, and the "healing" process is done. They figured out what was wrong with me and now I am all good! I am always trying to make my days full of activities between naps and cleaning and doing one thing a day for myself, it is a pretty busy day most of the time. I am not a huge fan of this teething stage though.. A little early it seems, I am hoping these teeth don't come too quickly, I am not ready to stop breast feeding haha but once these teeth do come, I will be done.. I can still pump though, which I wouldn't mind. I think I will just miss my"bonding" time with her, which I am sure I can make during the days and putting her to bed at  night!

I am working on a photo wall in Cass's bedroom, full of pictures of her and us. I can change the photos often and see how fast she grows.. You can really see that from the photos. I can't wait for this wall to be finished and I can start on a new project!

Tomorrow Alex is going to put up some of our new baseboards in the bedroom, and we are going to try to finish some of our small projects around the house that just never seemed to get done before Cass was born! I am excited for the day the renos will finally be done!!

Cass just woke up so I better post this and continue on with my night!

Goodnight
